Be Kind to Yourself

If you want to be kind to yourself the first thing you need to do is get some good sleep, because if you are tired you are not going to be in a good mood and will not be ready to conquer the day.

Going for a walk will help you shake a bad mood and get you thinking. Look at the scenery around you while you are on your walk, pick a flower and smell it and let the smell go through your body. Changing your shoes after you have had a long day at work and putting on a pair of warn fuzzy slippers, can really pamper your feet and you will start to feel like you are getting some energy back.

Send some flowers to yourself make sure you have them include the card. Go to the spa and have the works done. While you are getting a massage, close your eyes and enjoy the feeling you have. Let your mind wander while you are there.

When you are home, take a long, hot bath. Set scented candles all around the bath tub and light them. Take the phone off the hook, leave your cell phone in your purse, lay in the tub and relax. Plant some flowers, or visit a park or place that has flowers like the florist. Make sure to take in the intoxicating bouquets that you encounter. You can buy some incense to burn around the house and close your eyes while you relax. It will ease your mind and bring back good memories.
