Reinvnet Rebounding for Success

Do you have difficulty recovering from mistakes, failure and disappointment? Do you relive setbacks over and over? Do life situations and challenges stress you to the max? Did you answer yes to any or all of the questions?

Well then it is time to invest some time learning how to rebound successfully. Hanging on to setbacks limits a productive, successful and happy life. Life is full of change, stress, disappointment, failure, illness, injury, loss of competitions or jobs, death, and so on. How we handle all that stuff affects the quality of life.

Rebounding is the ability to quickly recover from perceived loss and failure by breaking old beliefs and behaviors that keep you stuck and miserable. People that are stuck often have patterns of self-punishment, some signs are irritability, sadness, depression, physical, emotional or even physical abuse, alcoholism, and over-working to name a few! These negative habits make it virtually impossible to maintain a truly joyful and contented life. Negative mind habits erode confidence and self-esteem.

Some pointers for rebounding or letting the negative go are; Change your perspective! Learn to view adversity as a valuable part of growing and learning. Decide to view problems as situations or challenges to be handled or released.

Avoid drawing conclusions and making interpretations. Assumptions about what others think about you are self defeating. It does not matter what others think as long as we know who we are and what we are about.

Avoid judging yourself from a critical perspective that leads to less confidence and lower self-esteem. What you tell yourself is what you exhibit?

Trust that when one door closed another one truly will open. All things happen for a reason, so if you are experiencing a loss, failure or disappointment, a better opportunity will be awaiting you, so keep your eyes peeled!

Accept what is. Accepting the current situation is the only “sane” choice. Wishing you could change the past and beating yourself up is not only futile, it also removes the possibility of growing and leaning.

Learning to rebound quickly from negative situations is a process, be patient with yourself while implementing these new habits. Perseverance is the key to success.  Honest!
